Facilitating processes and networks

Network principles can be applied in many circumstances – internally within your company or externally with customers and business partners.

More and more companies have come to realise how networks and network processes can be applied in supporting effective learning and knowledge sharing in contexts not normally associated with networks.

CfL network experts engage increasingly in advising companies on new ways of benefiting from the principles of networking – for example, in connection with workshops, systematic interdepartmental knowledge sharing, learning and developing in teams or across the organisation, etc.

Our experts are ready to:

  • Submit proposals to executive management, management groups or departments on how network principles can be applied internally within a company or externally in relation to customers and business partners
  • Assist with the practical planning of network processes
  • Assist with facilitators/process consultants in network processes
  • Arrange training courses on “Network and Facilitating”
  • Act as a consultant to network leaders.

Examples of assignments we have solved:

  • Training network co-ordinators at a Norwegian training company which wanted to be able to offer its clients a networking product
  • Training network co-ordinators and setting up internal networks within a pension fund to ensure long term learning and staff retention
  • Facilitating of eight parallel workshops at an internal management conference for a major financial institution to ensure results on the day
  • Acting as a “midwife” in network-building followed by training courses and periods of education to ensure continued learning
