What is a CfL network?
The features of a CfL network:
- All networks focus on management and organisational development
- The pivotal features are learning and development
- A confidential atmosphere for inspiration, exchange of views and knowledge with equals.
- Access to the latest knowledge, best practice and experience in management and organisational development
- A network based upon the everyday work situations and challenges that face participants
- A network where participants are blended to ensure that the network is dynamic and productive
- Typically, a network will comprise of 25-30 participants of equal standing selected from across many sectors
- If the need arises to enlarge a network, this is done in conjunction with existing members
- Network members meet 4-6 times a year, with one or more meetings lasting more than 24 hours
- Each network has its own confidential dialogue forum on the Internet with its own associated library of information
- The network has a co-ordinator – skilled in process routines – whose job it is to focus and drive all meetings
- All administrative work is undertaken by a secretary delegated to the network.
