Business Development

A sharp contrast between a company’s strategy theories, including their organisational gearing, and the organisational design caused by these reflections is often present.

A recent study conducted by CfL Danish Centre for Leadershipshows that three out of four companies have changed the design of their organisation in the past 2-3 years.

It has become more and more important that a company’s organisation is able to fortify the company strategy. Circumstances such as globalisation and rapidly changing market requirements put a company’s ability to transform and adjust to a test and naturally affect the way the company organises itself. Thus, it is important that a company remains attentive as to how the organisational structure matches the strategy and goals.

An increase in speed, individualism and uncertainty affects the complexity of the management task. The more the organisation design can ratify the corporate correlation force, the more time management is given. Successful companies need to enhance their ability to transform and adjust on short notice in the future. The company’s organisational structure will be expected to meet the requirements of profound flexibility.

Organisation development seems to be of great importance in companies today, and the attention seems to be focusing on the fact that practising a strategy requires an organisational gearing.
